"Your History Your Dream."
Join celebrated fine-artist Louise Cutler, The Cultural Enrichment Center and BIPOC Alliance for our first annual Black History Month Youth Art Project!  

2022 theme - "Your History Your Dream."

Date - February 27th, 2022 12pm -4pm

Location - To be sent to attendees 2 days prior to event.

Black-identifying youth in grades 3rd through 12th will be paired up and given paper to write and create their very own visual "I Have A Dream" and what it means to them and their future. After which each pair of students will be given a 6ft piece of canvas where they will trace each others body overlapping using markers. Then within each students body they will create their dream/historical story. Using paint, stencils, collage, and other materials. Where the bodies intersect, the students will have to collaborate, allowing them to work together to create the end result. All artwork will be showcased at the Foothills Mall for the full month of June and highlighted at this years Juneteenth events.
