Trail of Treats Volunteer/Vendor Entry Form

Due to the new guidelines released by the State of California's Health Department - we have changed this event from a walking event to a Drive-Thru event, as per the County's request. The new event location will be with in the Cameron Park Airport District neighborhood. CSD Staff will follow up with you with the new event details after you complete this form.

We would like to see as many people as possible help us bring this event to life. We welcome anyone participate as a vendor/volunteer to hand out candy - it is open to all ages, individuals, families, clubs, groups, & businesses. Political booths/trunks will not be permitted, as this is a children's event.

**Please note: This is the form you fill out of you want to participate as a vendor/volunteer to hand out candy - this is not for people who want to attend to trick-or-treat.**

FREE! There is NO cost to decorate a trunk or booth (only cost to our Volunteers will be the candy!)

Spaces between vendors will be very large to accommodate for physical distancing and to space out the trick-or-treaters. The construction will be up to each volunteer group - the space you will be provided should not exceed a 10x10 area and you must be able to have your area completely decorated in 1 hour or less

You may begin setting up/ decorating your space as early as 9:00am on Saturday, October 31st. All decorating must be completed no later than 10:00am when our first Trick or Treaters will take to the trail. Take down begins immediately after event but no earlier than 1:00pm. Please help us by hauling out all of your items upon your exit or using the trash receptacles near your assigned spot.

- Our Treats on the Trail Event is family friendly. Trunk/booth decorations should be whimsical, humorous, mischievous or lovable - NOT frightening. We reserve the right to disqualify entries they feel to be distasteful or not family friendly. Please refrain from all political based themes.

- Signage will not be provided, we encourage you to bring your own signage to highlight your name, business, or service club etc.

- Applicants must provide candy for Trunk or Treaters - please plan on giving 2-3 pieces of candy per trick-or-treater - at this time we anticipate 150 kids registering for the event.

- Masks are required for all volunteers and participants. We are asking all of our volunteers to be mindful that we want this event to be as safe as possible for all parties. Please practice safe physical distancing, wear a mask and gloves and/or use hand sanitizer often. You can get as creative as you would like with candy "delivery" methods. We have seen people using 6' pipes or tubes as a "chute" to deliver candy to trick-or-treaters. This is not required, but may be fun for you to devise.
