"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God — not the result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are what God has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand to be our way of life." — Ephesians 2:8-10
Hand in Hand is an event that gives us the chance to worship God by serving others. This worship can look like yard work, light housekeeping, cleaning up natural areas or roadsides, or whatever is needed where we are!

WHAT TO EXPECTWe will spend Friday evening preparing ourselves for Christ-modeled servanthood. This will include Bible study and group building as well as learning about the communities we will serve and the specific worksites to which we will be assigned. Most of Saturday will be spent on the worksite.
On Saturday we will be divided into work groups, and will work at different sites. We will be doing general cleanup; yard work and cleanup for elderly homebound; and small home repairs.
On Saturday evening we'll process the day and begin to think of ways to carry forward our experience.
On Sunday morning, we will worship together either on site or at a local congregation.
