General Financial Obligations 1. Payment will be made in accordance with the current *Tuition and Fees Schedule (SEE BELOW). 2. Prompt payment of fees is essential for our school to meet its own financial obligations. Tuition is due the first of each month beginning July through May. A late fee of $35 will be assessed after the tenth day of the month. 3. A $25 fee will be charged on all returned checks or rejected payments. 4. In the event of withdrawal, the family is obligated for tuition, fees, and expenses for the full academic year.
Delinquent Payment Policies 5. Oakbrook reserves the right to withhold progress reports, report cards, achievement test results, transcripts and access to RenWeb or to refuse to extend credit for goods and supplies, and/or to withhold the right to attend classes from any student for whom tuition or other school charges are past due. Any accounts delinquent for more than thirty (30) days will be refused re-enrollment without speaking with the business manager. Report cards, transcripts, and diplomas will be withheld for any graduated or withdrawn student(s) for whom tuition and/or other school charges are due until such charges are paid in full. A complete Late Payment Policy is available in the Family Handbook and on the Oakbrook website.
Special Circumstances6. Special Circumstances are defined as exceptional and unusual events of hardship that make it difficult for a family to meet its financial obligations. If a family experiences such circumstances, they should call the Business Office before withdrawing the student(s) or allowing the account to fall behind. The Business Manager does not have the authority to forgive outstanding tuition and expenses. However, he can assess the situation and advise the family of their potential options.
Financial Aid7. Financial Aid is based on demonstrated financial need and is available for students in Kindergarten-12th grade. To be considered, applications must be completed by March 1 and submitted to Financial Aid for Student Tuition (FAST). A link to the application is available on the Oakbrook website. Applications will be forwarded to the Financial Aid Committee for consideration. If you experience any problems during the application process or have any questions, please email David Foy at email@example.com or call 587-2060 ext. 104.
