Volunteer Positions Available:
Event Chaperone: Help chaperone and/or drive for events/college trips! You must be 21+. Note: Drivers must have a valid driver's license and must be a relative of an LIT member, such as a parent, aunt, uncle, etc.

College Mentor: Help a senior prepare for college by helping them with college applications, scholarship applications, and more. College mentors are expected to volunteer a minimum of 2 times per month on Tuesdays between the hours of 5-8pm. We prefer volunteers to come in person to our Eastern office at 900 N Lamb Blvd #130 Las Vegas , NV 89110.

Career Mentor: Help guide a postsecondary student (students who have graduated from HS) to their future career. Help find opportunities for jobs, internships, professional associations, housing and other opportunities that LIT members request assistance with. Career mentors are expected to meet with their mentees 1 time each month. The mentors and mentees will determine when and how they will meet (ex. zoom, phone call, etc.)

Volunteer Onboarding Process
After this survey is complete, you will be invited to an orientation to go over your onboarding steps. Before you will be able to work directly with youth, you will 1) attend orientation, 2) provide references below, 3) respond to an invite for a background check emailed from Active Screening, and 4) review the Member Expectations Contract and e-sign that you have read and understand the LIT Incident Response Policy. We will help you with each of these steps along the way!
