The Business of Sustainability initiative at McDonough School of Business looks at sustainability as a business approach that creates long-term shareholder value by embracing opportunities and managing risks derived from economic, environmental, and social developments. The initiative focuses on three different categories of activities at MSB related to the business of sustainability --

• Curriculum and student learning, including the MBA Certificate on Sustainable Business, the undergraduate Sustainable Business Fellows, and experiential consulting projects.
• Dissemination and promotion of thought leadership from faculty and alumni
• Engaging and developing relationships with alumni, corporations and policy makers in this space.
