Off-Campus Pass (OCP) – What You Need to Know
To request an Off-Campus Pass, submit your request early to avoid delays. Same-day requests must be submitted by 11:00 AM and at least one hour before leaving campus. Requests must be sent using the parent/guardian email listed in PowerSchool; student emails are not accepted.
After the request is submitted, the Attendance Office will call the parent/guardian to confirm. Students cannot leave campus without an approved OCP written by the Attendance Office. Leaving campus without an OCP will result in being marked TRUANT, and the absence cannot be cleared.
Students can pick up their OCP from the Attendance Office during passing periods, Snack, or Lunch. Students should show their OCP to their teacher at the start of class so the teacher is aware of their scheduled departure. When leaving campus, students must show their OCP to campus security at the front desk and sign out in the Administration Building. The parent/guardian must pick up the student in front of the school.
REMINDERS - OCPs are not available during Final Exams, and off-campus lunch passes are not permitted. Students cannot request or verify their own passes, even if they are 18 years old. If a student leaves campus due to illness or for personal reasons, they are not allowed to return to campus that same day.
