Becoming & Belonging Sessions: December 2025

What a great year it has been. 

I launched the first B&B Session in February, Flow Group. Shortly after I hosted Wander School. Then Pick A Card. Then Let's Have A Story. I will have had four guests for Share One (thx Chris Jepson, Janice Rous, Marlyn Diaz, Chris Corrigan). And I hosted the first Wanderful Excursion, a longer time of dwelling and learning together. 

I continue to mix these together in the weeks and months -- 45 people have participated in the programs. By the end of the year I'll have hosted near 60 of these sessions. What a treat to meet and learn in Circle about such compelling stories in our lives. All pointing to added relationship with what matters, with what is a bit more authentic in ourselves and in others. 

You have several options to participate, whether just trying something out, becoming a regular, or exploring some options to try in your places of work and life.

1. Flow Group is a monthly small group (typically 5-6 participants), 90-minute online (Zoom) hosted experience of The Flow Game. Each participant comes with an overarching intent or question to explore. The group reflects together on question prompts from the game. We harvest insight and intuition, clarity, and connection.

2. Wander School is a monthly 90-minute online facilitated format, held mostly in Circle, and guided by questions that invite your attention on what has your attention. It is group and personal learning. It is skilled attentiveness to intuitive wisdom. It is creativity in connection. Wander School grows from this belief — “If something has your attention (in life, work, family), it likely has some medicine for you. For your inner state, for your outer conditions. For you now, or for you in your longer arc.” That medicine helps grow who you are and how you respond with depth.

3. Pick A Card is Pick A Card is a small to medium group (up to 15 participants), 90-minutes online (Zoom), hosted experience to bring insight and intuition about a project or personal issue. It involves the randomness of picking a card from a chosen deck of archetypes / symbols. It involves the deliberateness of reflecting out loud and hearing impressions from others. I don’t think of Pick A Card as divining (even though many decks are referenced as oracle cards). Rather, Pick A Card is about exploring insights stirred from engaging a universal symbol or practice and connecting it to personal intuition and circumstance. Sometimes it is each person with a card. Sometimes it is one card for the whole group. In all of it, there is invitation to clarity, to learning and coloring outside the lines.

4. Share One is a platform to bring additional voices to B&B offerings. It's a 75-minute online format (Zoom). It’s for guest teachers and conveners. It’s for guest experimenters. I’ll support you in advance. The guest’s job (solo or with a partner) is to bring something you care about (a resource, a process, both) that encourages becoming and belonging. Pre-arranged with me. Bring something you would do even if nobody showed up. I’ll help with book-end format — context, check-in and check-out.

Since he began his facilitation career back in the 1990s Chris has been in awe of phenomenon of dialogic containers, places where people make meaning together. Through his experience working with and thinking about how humans find common cause in life-giving contexts, he has collected a few simple practices that anyone can use to bring a little more life to the act of being together.  We’ll play with some of these practices together.

5. Let's Have A Story -- 90-minutes, online. For groups 6-16 in size. I read a short story or fable out loud to the group. And then invite rounds of reflection and noticing. The story becomes a map to find insight and intuition. About life. About work. Clarity inner and outer. Expect spaciousness. Expect playfulness. Expect the surprise of seriousness that sneaks in from that.

6. Wanderful, A Becoming & Belonging Excursion is an invitation to dwell together longer and deeper. It's a deliberately crafted four hours of wander and wonder. As I say in the invitation below, "Let us lift learning together. And practice. And insight. And joy. And sincerity. Because we are the humans we are, seeking the things we seek, and surrendering the things we surrender."
