Makeathon with Arduino
Ever heard of the Arduino? Arduino is much like the "brain" of your computer or any smart devices. Just like how the human brain controls the body based on different stimuli, the Arduino can be programmed to respond to various inputs. Intrigued? Join us for our 3-day Makeathon to learn and explore more about the Arduino! Combined with some upcycling skills, participants will team up to build their own arcade. On the last day, there will be a mini show and tell for parents to join in the fun.

What you will learn:
1. How to programme the Arduino to interact with sensors (input) and actuators (outputs)
2. Programming concept like loops, conditionals and algorithm
3. Basic electronics and circuitry
4. Problem solving, logical reasoning and creative thinking through project-based learning
5. Life skills such as collaboration, communication and tenacity

Check out this cool project inspired by the game "Whack a Mole" built by one of our students during the last Makeathon! https://www.facebook.com/chumbaka.asia/videos/1581445421897198
