Science Beyond Borders: Exploring Possibilities, Solving Global Challenges.
The College of Science of the University of Santo Tomas will hold its annual Science Week celebrations from February 27 – March 3, 2017 with the theme “Science beyond borders: exploring
possibilities, solving global challenges”. The week-long event includes the awarding of three honorary professorships to foreign researchers during the opening ceremonies, departmental lectures, fora, symposia, poster exhibits, interactive exhibits, youth lectures aimed at high school students as well as magic shows on mathematics, physics, biology, chemistry, microbiology and psychology.

The event is open to all Thomasians and non-Thomasians alike especially senior high school students contemplating a college degree in the sciences.

In celebration of the UST College of Science Week, please join us for the 2nd UST College of Science-University of Shiga Prefecture (Japan) Join Symposium on February 28, 2016 (Tuesday) from 1-4 P.M. at the Blaylock Hall, Benavides (Old Graduate School) Building.

This event will feature faculty researchers from both universities showcasing their diverse work on parasitology, palinology, herpetology, limnology and allergology among others.
