MPR Fall Break Intensive 2026 
Details: 
  • Sept. 29 (Tuesday) & Oct. 2 (Friday), 1-4pm each day
  • Open to youth grades 5-12, free of charge
  • Location: Lexington Friends Meeting House 649 Price Ave. (off N. Broadway between W. 6th and Delcamp Ave.)
  • Taught by veteran drummer, Tripp Bratton, with 40 years experience teaching African-derived rhythms from around the world.  Assisted by Jameka Redden, MT-BC (Certified Music Therapist).  
  • Program coordinated by long-time educator, Leslie Stamatis, PhD.

  • No previous drumming experience is required, but those with existing drumming chops will definitely be challenged, too! 
  • Authentic African drums will be provided for class use!
