This form has been created to ensure that volunteers across the Woodcraft Folk movement can express their interest in being part of one of our specialised focus groups.
We are specifically holding focus groups for volunteers from the following demographic groups to have a safe and progressive space to share experiences being part of the Woodcraft Folk as someone from an underrepresented background:
- People from racialised backgrounds: 7pm Thursday 9th May
- People who identify as living with a disability: 7pm Thursday 2nd May
We will also be hosting a session for those volunteers who contribute to centres, projects and camps on Tuesday 30th April. These volunteers have been under-represented in our research to date.
These conversations are focused on creating opportunity. Our EDI review and action plan is being built on the belief that the organisation is already doing great work and seeking to serve people and communities in the best way possible, but as with anything, has areas where improvements can be made.
