InventOR Innovation Challenge!
Welcome to the InventOR Challenge information and registration page! This is a statewide sponsored innovation challenge to pitch a creative idea and learn all of the skills needed to develop it into a business opportunity. The challenge will take place in stages, with a schoolwide pitch competition on April 22, then a bootcamp at Portland State University in May, and lastly, the statewide finals in June.

InventOR - What’s in It for You?
The winning team of the CCC pitch competition will be invited to the statewide competition InventOR 2025, where they will receive:
  • $2,000 prototyping grant to develop their idea
  • Fully covered accommodations, meals, and reimbursement for travel for Bootcamp and Finals
  • 1:1 guidance from a dedicated InventOR Advisor
  • 1:1 mentorship and pitch coaching from industry experts
  • Experiential education in entrepreneurship at Bootcamp (May 2-4 in Portland)
  • Networking opportunities at Bootcamp & Finals Receptions
  • A chance to compete for $30,000 in cash and prizes at the InventOR Finals (June 27th @ University of Portland)
The schoolwide competition will be held on April 22 from noon-1pm in WACHENO WELCOME CENTER 151. This will be a pitch competition, where you pitch your idea (maximum of 5 minutes) in front of a panel of judges. Each pitch should address the following questions:
What is the specific problem that you seek to solve?
How does your concept solve that problem?
What is the market for the proposed solution? (Please be specific as possible. Who will buy your product or service?)

Note that you are permitted to use slides if you want to, but please submit those as an attachment in advance to elee@clackamas.edu

Scoring of the pitches will be based on the team’s ability to clearly present the problem, solution, market opportunity, and potential impact.
