CAD Club supercharges students’ inventive minds with the power of Computer-Aided Design. Proficiency in CAD is essential in fields from architecture to electrical engineering; CAD can help bring your ideas into reality!

FRC Robotics Team #9114 - Rotationaries
The same way our name is a pun on "revolutionaries," FRC Rotationaries 9114 hopes to bridge technical expertise, community involvement, and an inclusive culture for all members, giving real-world experience in a hands-on environment. With software, hardware, and business subdivisions, each member will have the opportunity to further their interest in STEM and leadership, improving their teamwork and communication skills along the way, while continuing to meet and spread FIRST's core values.

FTC Robotics Team #5773 - Ink and Metal
Our mission is to spread STEM and FIRST values to as many students, communities, and people as possible and motivating them to expand their future STEM aspirations. Our team’s purpose is explained in 3 words: Innovate. Implement. Inspire.

Eagle Explorer
Eagle Explorer is American High School's STEAM publication that publishes a recurring (online) magazine covering various topics. Such topics include bioengineering, aerospace engineering, computer science, mathematics, etc.

Girls Who Code
As the gender gap in technology fields grows, the world misses out on ideas from almost half the population. Now, more than ever, we need to eliminate this disparity. By learning to code with Girls Who Code, girls will be empowered to do more than crack the glass ceiling; they’ll shatter it!

Innovators' Club
The AHS Innovators' Club give students of each level activities and lessons in STEM. Members will make physical projects combined with design and engineering. Students will be taught use of Tinkercad Arduinos, C++, assistive technology, and robotics.

Rocketry Club
Here at the AHS Rocketry Club we aim to introduce the vast and awe-inspiring world of rocketry to all students passionate and willing to learn about the field. From learning about rocketry based physics principles to competing in prestigious national rocketry competitions, AHS Rocketry holds something for every rocket enthusiast to enjoy!

Society of Women Engineers (SWENext)
The SWENext Club at American High School connects girls to the Society of Women's Engineers (SWE), a global organization, offering access to SWE programs, engineering experience, scholarships funded by SWE, and networking opportunities. American High School's SWENext Club aims to support girls with extraordinary potential in STEM by providing them resources, giving them the boost they need to begin or advance their STEM journeys.

VEX Robotics
We strive to create a positive atmosphere where students are able to strengthen their engineering, programming, and problem solving skills. We are home to two teams (97101G and 97101W) that compete in the annual VRC competition.
