Training Workshops: Pre-K Providers & BASD Parent Volunteers
Pre-K Providers & BASD Parent Volunteers,

All 16 of the BASD’s elementary schools will be hosting “Pre-K Parent and Family Literacy Sessions” each month from January through June 2018. Each monthly session will focus on a different literacy topic designed to help Pre-K parents/guardians work with their 4-year old child at home.

As Pre-K providers and BASD parent volunteers, we value the important role you play in the success of our young learners. We would like to invite you to learn more about these monthly parent and family literacy sessions and the BASD’s initiative to assist our Pre-K families.

The workshops listed below have been designed specifically for you…our valuable partners in education! At these training workshops, you will learn valuable information that can be used to help prepare Pre-K students for kindergarten. You will also gain access to a wonderful online program that can be used at home or in the Pre-K setting to reinforce the development of literacy skills and language development.

We hope you will join us at any or all of these valuable training workshops!
