10th Grade - Pre-ACT Registration 2017
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY BEFORE COMPLETING THE REGISTRATION FORM!

WHAT is the Pre-ACT? PreACT simulates the ACT testing experience within a shorter test window on all four ACT test subjects: English, math, reading and science. The Pre-ACT offers an ACT Interest Inventory, the results of which provide students with a personalized view of interests with college and career alignment.

WHY? In the past, HHS has only offered the PSAT to 10th and 11th graders. The SAT and ACT are different tests and by providing this opportunity we give you access to both - Pre-ACT in 10th and PSAT in 11th, so you can make an informed decision as to which test is right for you! The ACT is accepted by ALL colleges and universities and is taken by 3 million students across the country. http://www.act.org/content/act/en/students-and-parents.html

WHO? Strongly recommended, but not mandatory, for all sophomores
****For this fall 2017, the Pre-ACT will be offered to sophomores first. Any sophomores who would prefer to take the PSAT over the Pre-ACT, will go on a waiting list - first come first served.

TIME: Students should arrive at the Library for check-in at 8:00am

DISMISSAL: Students will be dismissed at approximately 10:30/11am
