Chicago Day Trip Sign-Up (April 2, 2026)

🏙️ Explore the Windy City: Chicago Day Trip!

Join the Student Engagement Office for a full day exploring Chicago on Thursday, April 2nd! We'll be taking a comfortable National Trails charter bus straight to the heart of the city. You will be dropped off at Millennium Park with the entire afternoon completely free to roam, sightsee, shop, and grab lunch with your friends. In the evening, the whole group will meet back up for a provided dinner at the famous Giordano's before we head back to campus!

📅 Date: Thursday, April 2nd, 2026 🚌 Transportation: National Trails Charter Bus (Round-trip from Siena Heights)

🕒 Official Itinerary:

  • 9:00 AM EST – Bus Departs Siena Heights

  • 12:00 PM CST – Arrive in Chicago (Millennium Park Drop-off) & Free Time Begins

  • 6:30 PM CST – Group Dinner at Giordano's (Provided by Student Engagement!)

  • 8:00 PM CST – Bus Departs Chicago

  • 1:00 AM EST – Approximate return to Siena Heights (early morning April 3rd)

⚠️ Important Details:

  • What's Included: Your round-trip charter bus transportation and your dinner at Giordano's are completely covered!

  • What to Bring: Please bring your own spending money for lunch, shopping, or any paid attractions you wish to visit during your free time. Wear comfortable walking shoes and check the Chicago weather forecast to dress appropriately.

  • No-Show Policy: A $65 fee will be charged to your student account if you sign up and do not show up for the event. If you have an emergency, you must contact Wilson by email at jwilson8@sienaheights.edu before the trip to avoid this charge.
