SAHS Centennial Trip 2027 Additional Information Survey
We have an itinerary for the September 2027 trip to Switzerland! As we work with a tour company in Switzerland, we have some additional questions and need additional information from you. Please answer the below questions so we can finalize details and sign a contract. Thank you!

This will be a 10 day trip. You would book your own flights and everyone will meet in Zurich on Sunday, September 19. The tour ends on Tuesday, September 28 in Bern (You can book your return flight for Wednesday, September 29 out of Zurich). The cost would be approximately CHF 4,500 (currently $5,640) per person (includes all lodging, trains with Swiss pass, admission to places visiting as a group, guide led city walking tours, and some meals). The price is not set yet due to economic factors and changing exchange rates, but we will be paying the tour company in Swiss francs. You are also required to have travel insurance and medical insurance that is covered in Europe. Are you okay with these dates, the cost, and insurance requirements? *
The SAHS annual meeting will start on Friday, October 1st with an apéritif that evening at the Swiss Consulate's Residence in Chicago. Would you plan to attend the annual meeting? Note that people going to Switzerland from the Midwest will likely fly in and out of Chicago. *
A first deposit of $500 per person is due on March 15, 2026. Please acknowledge that you agree to pay this amount by that date in order to secure your spot(s) on this trip. Payment can be made by check or credit card. We will send information by email to you as we get closer to the deposit due date. Any questions about payment?
