ONLY RISING 7th/8th GRADERS MAY AUDITION FOR IGNITE BAND

Please fill out the form. Don't Forget to email your video audition submission to Mr. Spruill.

Audition Application and videos due March 24, 2023.

If selected, in Person Auditions will be April 3rd from 6:00-9:00 in the Student Auditorium.

* Auditions will take place in 2 rounds. Video submissions will be reviewed for round 1 and selected applicants will be contacted to participate in in-person auditions for round 2. Videos can be submitted directly to Mr. Spruill as an email attachment.

The Subject line must state: MS Ignite Audition.

The body of the email must contain: Student name and grade for the 23-24 school year.

The video file attachment must be named to include the student name and grade for the 23-24 school year. Send your email to Mr. Spruill at spruills@carmelchristian.org (copy and paste into an email).

Please submit 2 videos:

* Firm Foundation in the appropriate key

* A video of you performing any modern worship selection of your choice (Verse, Chorus, Bridge).

• My past involvement in the class does not guarantee my position in the class for the 2023-2024 season.

• If there are two or more students well suited for one band position, my past attitude and work ethic in the class (if I was a past Ignite class member) will be heavily considered in any final decisions.

• If I am a member of the Ignite band I will be leading worship for my peers and therefore will be held to a higher standard in my conduct and attitude at Carmel Christian School.
