District Convention Chair Application
The Capital District of Key Club International is seeking candidates for the role of District Convention (DCON) Chairperson. The DCON Chair is a rewarding, yet demanding role. The main function of the position is to coordinate and assist in the planning of the annual District Convention in coordination with the Conventions & Events Committee and adult Zone Administrators. This position requires the ability to communicate frequently; you must check your email every day in order to meet deadlines and provide timely replies to questions.

The 71st annual Capital Key Club District Convention will be held in Baltimore, Maryland from March 13-15, 2020. If you are elected, you will serve on the District Board, which means you will be attending DCON from March 12-15, 2020.

The DCON Chairperson serves on the Capital District Board. As such, candidates for this position must be able to attend all upcoming meetings of the Board. Upcoming meeting dates include: September 13-15 (Kiwanis Family Weekend/September Board Meeting); October 19 (Fall Rally); November 9-10 (November Board Meeting); February 8-9 (February Board Meeting); March 12-15 (DCON).
