OUR MISSION & VISION
We give musicians of all ages and levels-from seasoned professionals, to absolute beginners-the tools, the means, and the opportunities to play acoustic music in Utah.

We are elevating Salt Lake City's acoustic music scene to stand shoulder to shoulder with cities like Austin and Nashville, by making acoustic music a part of everyday life and enabling musicians to build meaningful careers locally. We are dedicated to ensuring that everyone in the Utah community-whether they're picking up an instrument for the first time, leading a band, or simply enjoying a concert-can gather together to experience the joy of acoustic music.

Hot House West encompasses several programs that are in need of volunteer support:

The Trash Moon Collective and The Swing Collective.

Help will occasionally be needed for our other two programs Westmoon Records and the Swing Orchestra.

The Trash Moon Collective fosters the roots, bluegrass and old time music community, while The Swing Collective supports the jazz community.
