This year, our registration procedure changed and attendees are required to register for the main ISTE conference. There is no other registration required for Global Education Day; our capacity is limited and seats will go to ISTE attendees on a first come, first served basis. If you sign up to facilitate a project, to give an ignite talk, to share information about your org, or to participate in the Global Resources Smackdown, we will reserve one seat for you. Additional spots will be reserved for event sponsors.
Applicants for ignite talks and project facilitation spots must be educators in K12 non-profit schools or organization leaders from non-profits. If you represent a for-profit school or company, you are welcome to attend our event, but you must be a sponsor of our event in order to take on a leadership role. Contact Steve Hargadon at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information on how you can support our work to connect educators and organizations around the world.

4) Global Resources Smackdown - Sign up for the Global Resources Smackdown. This annual activity occurs at the end of this session. Volunteers sign up to show a tool or resource that supports globally connected teaching and learning.
