Jewelry Production Assistant

Pure Life Jewelry is looking to hire a new team member. Do you think this could be you!?

We are seeking a part time jewelry production assistant to work in our storefront + studio space.

Our studio functions as a public storefront as well as an operational jewelry studio. We make and design work throughout the day as well as assist shoppers who come into our store. The job ranges from simple tasks such as helping customers find a gift for someone, to more in depth tasks such as managing and creating all of our signature pieces for wholesale orders. You will be involved in the multiple facets of the shop.

- Basic Metalworking experience is a MUST OR a familiarity with basic jewelry making techniques. We are willing to teach the right person is they already have basic knowledge of soldering.
- Willingness to learn about metals & gemstones

Your primary role will be fabricating and finishing jewelry as well as helping customers who come into our shop. Other duties include packing shipments, emailing customers. A willingness to drive to the closest post office occasionally is a plus.

- Part Time, 5-15 hours per week (depending on the season), 2-3 days per week.
- There are extra hours available from time to time based on our order volume & if you would like to work trade shows (especially in the fall!).
- Studio Hours Monday, Wednesday(9am-6pm) Saturday (10am-6pm)
- Compensation: based on experience, beginning at $10.50/hour
