On
Sunday, March 16, 2025, starting at 1pm in Wichita, a competition between teams will take place to see which team can pick up the most trash during the 3 hr competition. Prizes will be given out to the team that collects the most trash.
Teams will be notified of their cleanup location during the week before the competition. Teams will meet up at their cleanup location where they will pick up supplies.
Teams will be made up of 5 members. Teams can add up to 5 additional members under the age of 12 (note that prizes will only be given to the 5 registered members), meaning it is possible to have up to 10 members on a team, as long as 5 of those members are under the age of 12. Teams have to have at least one member 16 years of age or older.
You can register as an individual or a group of 2-4 people. Teams will be combined as possible to make teams of 5. You will be allowed one bonus child under the age of 12 per member you are registering, meaning if you are signing up 3 people you can bring 3 children under the age of 12. You can also register children under 12 as an official member too.
Individuals must be 16 years older or older.
The competition is put on by Wichita RiverWalk Cleanup Crew and Wichita Clean Streams.
