AFIRE Volunteer Info Session - July 22, 2025

Join us as we talk about the work of AFIRE and the ways volunteers like you can support our mission. We welcome all current volunteers as well as new volunteers or folks interested in learning more about AFIRE. You will walk away knowing the various ways you can contribute to AFIRE's work, and you'll get to meet other volunteers, too!

Doors open at 6 PM. Masks are required and will be available at registration. Snacks and water will be provided. Please RSVP to help us plan for snacks and seating, thank you.

When: Tuesday, July 22, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Where: HANA Center, 4300 N California Ave, 2nd Floor, Chicago, IL 60618

::: ACCESSIBILITY :::

Stairs: There are 20 steps on the main stairwell to the HANA Center 2nd floor. There is currently no operable elevator.

Parking: There is free street parking on California Ave, Cullom Ave, and the Horner Park parking lot.

CTA: #78 Bus (Montrose & California) or #80 Bus (Irving Park & California).

Restrooms: Gendered restrooms on the first floor, gender-neutral restrooms on the second floor.

Visual aids: Presentation slideshow, handouts.

Nourishment: Light snacks available, as well as sparkling and bottled water.

COVID-19: Masks are required. Air purifiers available. If you are not feeling well, please stay home to minimize risk.
