Trefethen Scholarship Fund
The Trefethen Scholarship Fund offers full scholarships for women (including trans and cisgender; non-binary and gender nonconforming individuals) to participate in WAM trainings. Two students will be selected each year and receive 100% tuition coverage for WAM's Core Training program, inclusive of Level 1 introductory classes (a series of 8 evenings) and Level 2 advanced classes (3 classes each 2 nights per week).

Trefethen Scholarship applicants should have interest or experience in the field of recording arts and music production. Selection will be based on financial need, a desire to contribute to the recording arts field, and a demonstrated interest in this area. Candidates should be US-based.

For 2020: Application deadline is August 5, 2019

The Trefethen Scholarship was founded by Heidi Trefethen, a musician, composer and audio engineer, to support low income, queer, POC women in accessing recording arts training that can set them up for success in the field.
