ARTISTS: Sing, dance, act, paint, draw, or otherwise perform or display a democracy-related art production.

EXHIBITOR: Present a poster on a democracy-related research study or action project.

GAMER: Run or play a free game that engages participants in democracy in a fun way.

HOST: Lead a democracy event, like a film screening, or a book, research, policy or other discussion. $150 per hour for 1 festival mtg room. Application required. Room not guaranteed given limited supply.

SPEAKER: Speak on a democracy-related topic. Please suggest others in the DMV who can speak with you.

TRAINER: Lead interested festival participants in a free training or workshop that imparts civic knowledge, develops skills or attitudes helpful for citizen action broadly or on a specific issue.

YOUTH ASSEMBLY: Help guide or bring DMV high school students to a youth citizen assembly on mental health.

FAMILY DIALOGUE: Help inform or bring families to a live international family dialogue on democracy.

ORGANIZER: Be part of the team that is organizing DemFest.

HELPER: Volunteer to help with specific festival tasks, like set-up, entry, clean-up, etc.

EVALUATOR: Assist with festival evaluation research, like counting and surveying attendees, data analysis and reporting.
