FOUNDRY OFFICE HOURS : MONDAYS AND FRIDAYS
We’ve started a big research project in our little office.
We’re screening every Foundry production, dialogue, and community program in chronological order until we’re done. We started October 18th with The Foundry’s first production, W. David Hancock’s Convention of Cartography, and we suddenly realized something was missing. You.
Come join us for any of these. Office hours are now open for the rest of the process.

Monday, November 28th : And God Created Great Whales
And God Created Great Whales composed and performed by Rinde Eckert 2000 [Foundry Production]
An extraordinary, haunting musical adventure into the psyche of an artist, AND GOD CREATED GREAT WHALES follows a gifted, unknown composer on a quest to finish his opus: an opera based on Moby Dick. Desperately fighting against a disease eating away at his mind, and a woman he has conjured from this failing mind, he is forced to rely on a tape recorder hung around his neck, each day pressing “Play” and hearing yesterday’s instructions to himself. As his faculties irrevocably diminish, Nathan is forced into a race against time, struggling through waves of confusion, not only for the notes of his opera, but for the very chords of his own mind.
