The Youth Leadership Advisory Board is designed to give Foreign Service Youth a voice in the direction of the Foreign Service Youth Foundation. The mission of the organization is, Inspiring Foreign Service Youth to embrace the adventure: encouraging resilience, fostering camaraderie, celebrating achievements, and developing them as leaders; by engaging youth in the process, the Foreign Service Youth Foundation, gains valuable insight in the needs of FS youth. The purpose of the Youth Leadership Board is to advise the Executive Director and Board of youth programming, identify areas of support, analyze youth trends, create youth specific content, and develop areas of potential growth. Youth will have the opportunity to participate in a quarterly meeting, lead virtual events, write content for newsletters and social media, and become brand ambassadors of the Foreign Service Youth Foundation. Each young person selected to the Youth  Leadership Advisory Board will work with the Executive Director to make their mark in the organization and serve Foreign Service Youth.
