Bank Letter
Bank Letters may be requested via the below form. Give the CUSA Clubs office a few days to create and e-mail or mail the letter. They will confirm with you when the letter has been mailed. If you have concerns, please email the Student Groups Administrator at clubs@cusaonline.ca

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and public health guidelines, many traditionally established services have been forced to adapt. Unfortunately, the Scotiabank on campus is expected to remain closed for the Fall 2021 semester, meaning as many meetings as possible should happen digitally or in-person at the 2714 Alta Vista Drive (K1V 7T4) Scotiabank Branch. If, however, the two signing authorities are unable to attend a meeting at the Branch, the signing authorities should fill out the form as such, particularly the question about geography/internationality. Scotiabank and the CUSA Clubs office are willing to make one-time exceptions because of the pandemic if signing authorities find themselves geographically or internationally separated, and you will be given guidance on how to proceed following submission of this form.

Once you have the bank letter and if both signing authorities are prepared to meet either online or at the Scotiabank located on campus at 1125 Colonel By Drive (Patterson Hall), Ottawa, you can arrange a meeting with Onyisi Otiono at onyisi.otiono@scotiabank.com . If you are outside of Canada, you will receive a digital bank letter and you should contact Elsa to assist in adding you as a signing authority. If you are elsewhere in Canada, the CUSA Clubs office will advise on next steps following your form submission.

We will always strive to complete bank account requests online. Sometimes, however, a physical letter will need to be mailed. As a default, bank letters will be mailed to one provided Canadian address. If this process does not work for your club, please select a reason why or explain under "other"
