Join KCRW and Los Angeles Reporting Collective (LARC) for a live Pitch Panel on Saturday June 13th!

Come see how freelance story ideas actually get evaluated by editors. Here’s how it works: we’ll be bringing a handful of journalists on stage at KCRW to pitch stories *live* to a panel of editors from outlets across Los Angeles. Each pitch will be followed by real time feedback from the editors - a candid conversation about what makes a pitch compelling, what questions editors ask and how stories evolve before publication.

This event is for journalists, civic media makers and anyone curious about the editorial process. Alongside the live panel, we’ll have some time to mingle and hang out at the station.
