Arroyos are loci that concentrate biological richness and diversity in the desert. They are places that offer respite, refreshment, and sustenance for a wide array of desert plants and animals. The Biomimicry Center has adapted the arroyo as a model for the role we aspire to play in the community of students, researchers, and faculty at ASU as well as in the network of partners in Arizona and beyond. We are creating a space to find inspiration, create collaborations, and discover nature's genius.
