Offshoot Online Gallery
To encourage a productive use of time during the quarantine period, Offshoot (@offshoot.mnl) in partnership with Tarzeer Pictures (@tarzeerpictures) is hosting an online gallery of video slideshows from pairs of visual artists and musicians.

Each artist and musician will pair up with each other to create a slideshow with visuals and music, which will then be compiled online. Visuals can include photos, artwork, video clips, and the like. Audio can include music, sound art, and more. Literature may be included both as visuals or as audio.

The Offshoot Online Gallery will be a website that will exhibit all the works submitted. To create a more meaningful impact, we will encourage artists to sell their separate works (not as a combined video) and pledge to make a donation to a chosen organization that supports COVID-19 frontliners and patients in the Philippines.

The deadline for submissions is on Tuesday, April 14.

PROJECT GUIDELINES:
— The output of the project will be a video composed of visual and audio components. Visuals may include photos, artwork, graphics, video clips, and the like; while audio may include music, sound art, and more. Literature may be included both as visuals or as audio. Works may include previous unpublished work.

— Each project must be composed of at least one visual artist and one audio artist. Artists are responsible for finding their partners for the project. We've created a Facebook group (linked above) where artists may look for partners, and to serve as a sounding board for ideas.

— All videos must be limited to 2 minutes and 30 seconds.

— Submission: Once the video is completed, artists must upload their work to YouTube and send the link to register.offshoot@gmail.com, with the title of the work as the subject, along with the names of the artists involved and other important details.

— Offshoot will upload and exhibit all submissions on a website (link to follow) as they are submitted. Submissions will be closed on Tuesday, April 14, 2020.

— Artists will have the option to list their work for sale on the Offshoot Online Gallery website as separate visual and audio work.

* Sales must be facilitated by the artists off-site. The Offshoot Online Gallery will simply serve as a platform for exhibiting work.
* Artists must note if their work will be up for sale when submitting, along with the platform where the work will be available for purchase and contact details. The work may be sold as a physical or digital object, depending on the discretion of the artist.
* Artists who wish to sell their work must pledge to donate at least 50 percent of their sales to a chosen organization that supports COVID-19 frontliners and patients in the Philippines. Artists must provide proof of donation.
