DIRECTING TEAM
Deanne Stokes - Director
Lisa Heili - Music Director
Karen Rohrer - Choreographer / Producer
Madde Gilmore - Ass't Choreographer

APPLICATIONS are open to experienced student actors, ages 10-18, and students must have previously appeared onstage in at least one Level 2 (Fall or Spring) Treehouse Theater musical.

We need at least 20 confirmed team members in order to prepare our 15-minute "mini-musical" for competition at the national festival in Atlanta on Jan. 16-20, 2020. JTF Rehearsals are INTENSE, demanding FOCUS and PRACTICE between our weekly Sunday night rehearsals (4-8 pm) that will begin October 6, 2019. Additional weeknight rehearsals (dates determined by the whole team) will be added beginning in mid-December.

AUDITIONS will be held on Friday, July 12 (1-3 pm) and Sunday, July 14 (6-8 pm) at the Treehouse Theater studio (818 Franklin St, Manitowoc). Indicate your date preference below and watch for an email from info@treehousetheater.com. Two more dates in August will be offered, but we'd like to audition as many as possible in July.

Please prepare and memorize a one-minute solo that highlights your vocal range and a one-minute spoken monologue (from a show). You must bring your own accompaniment and will be asked to properly introduce your song and monologue. Wear comfy clothes and jazz shoes (preferred) for proper movement.

The student actor cost to attend is $800 (+ $100 for food/beverages that is returned to the student upon departure to Atlanta). Cost includes all trip arrangements, local instruction/rehearsals, airfare, ground transportation, four nights in hotel, festival fee, cast t-shirts, script, CD and DVD. Three equal trip payments are due by Sept. 1, Oct. 1 and Nov. 1. Partial scholarships (up to $400) are available via application submitted by August 20, 2019.

If student is ages 10-12, a parent/guardian is required to attend and chaperone at the same price. The $800/person cost assumes a total of 35 people attending with our group. This could be decreased if we secure a larger group, so please help us to recruit team members!
