Please fill out this form and we will reach out if there are available group volunteer opportunities. If you do not hear from us it means that there are no suitable opportunities currently available, but we have your details on file should something arise in the future.

Donations are highly appreciated! If you plan to bring a donation when you volunteer, please check out our most needed items listed on our website. For every dollar donated, we can give out about $6 worth of food to those who need it: https://rfbs.org/donate/most-needed-items/ 

GROUP BOOKINGS UPDATE FOR NOVEMBER 17TH TO DECEMBER 23RD 2025: Please be advised that during this period groups will be restricted to 5 people during times when we are giving out food, and 7 people when we are not. Each organization will also be restricted to 1 volunteering session during this period. Volunteer Agreement
I wish to volunteer at the Richmond Food Bank. I will engage in activities and tasks that further the mission of the Richmond Food Bank Society, and I will receive no compensation for doing so. As a condition of volunteering at the Richmond Food Bank, I agree to the following:

* I may come in contact with sensitive or confidential information during the course of my duties at the Richmond Food Bank, and will do my utmost to respect the clients’, donors’, and volunteers’ right to their privacy. I will take all reasonable measures necessary to protect their sensitive or confidential information from being disclosed.
* I will conduct myself in a professional and honest manner at all times, including maintaining appropriate boundaries with clients, other volunteers, members of the community, and staff. Unsatisfactory volunteer performance may be subject to discipline or dismissal.
* I will take every precaution to deliver my duties in a safe manner. I am responsible for my own insurance coverage, and I will not hold the Richmond Food Bank Society responsible for any injury, harm, or lost/damaged property that occurs during the course of my volunteering.
* I agree to allow any photos or videos taken of me at Richmond Food Bank locations or events to be used by the Richmond Food Bank to promote its programs and services.
 I am authorized by my organization to sign this form on behalf of any and all members of my organization who will be volunteering. If any prospective volunteers from my organization are under 19 years old on this date, their parent or legal guardian has also read and agreed to this form. I will call 604 271 5609 if I have a question or problem with this form. *
