Pond-Side Pavilion 30-100 Guests [Typical site fee $1,000 - $3,000+] - Our pond-side pavilion is the perfect place for weddings and gatherings, both large and small. Up to 40 people can fit under the covered pavilion. With the addition of a tent, the pavilion can cover the catered food and bar area for your guests. Take memorable pictures off the dock behind the pavilion that overlooks the pond and vineyard. This is our most sought after wedding venue!
Crush Pad/Wine Cellar 30-50 Guests [Typical site fee $1,000 - $3,000+] - This area is ideal for those rainy months in spring. Large groups can set up tables for seating, buffet-style food, and bar service, all protected from the elements. This area is unavailable during the harvest months (Late August through Early November).
Patio 30-100 Guests [Typical site fee $2,000 - $2,500+] - Spread out and enjoy the views of our vineyard. Seating can be on our grassy picnic area or on our stonework area right by the tasting room. There is coverage from the elements and fans for those oh-so-hot Virginia summer days.
Tasting Room 30-50 Guests [typical site fee $1,500 - $4,000+] - Our Tasting room is the perfect location for after hours events. A built-in bar, fireplace, and connected balcony are all at your fingertips when renting this space. Patio can be rented as well at a discounted rate for larger groups. Great for dinners and holiday get-togethers!
Full Property Rental 100+ Guests [Site fee varies by season/ day] - Enjoy everything that Narmada has to offer! The winery and surrounding areas close down just for you and your guests!
FAQs
1. Can we bring outside food?
Outside food is permitted on site! Outside food must be catered for events over 15 individuals.
2. Are we allowed to bring outside alcohol?
Yes, with a proper banquet license that can be acquired through
VABC or through your caterer. An additional bartender/ pourer must be present to pour non-Narmada alcohols. There is a typical 2 week turnaround from the day you apply for the license and when it is approved. Please plan accordingly.
3. Do we need an event/ wedding planner?
We highly recommend using some kind of coordinator or planner for larger gatherings (50 people or more). Narmada Winery provides communication between vendors for drop-off/ pick-up scheduling and other immediate venue related tasks. This is included in the site fee. A day of coordinator can be requested through Narmada starting at $600 per hour for up to 12 total hours. Additional rates may apply.
4. Is there a wine purchase minimum?
Yes, depending on the size of the event.
5. Can we come visit the venue?
Absolutely. It is highly recommended to schedule a walkthrough before booking with us. We are typically available for venue tours Thursdays, Fridays and Monday between 11am-4pm, and Saturdays and Sundays between 12pm-3pm on non-event days.
6. Do you allow children and pets at your venues?
We allow supervised children at all venues and pets at all of our outdoor venues. Children do count towards the final guest count for all events.
7. What do we do in the event of rain for our outdoor venue?
Narmada will provide a rain plan upon signing of a contract. It is highly recommended for events under 50 people to reserve a tent in the event of weather. For events over 50 people, a tent reservation is required.
