Start by signing up for an Orientation Meeting!

The purpose of the orientation is to explain our program and for you to decide if our program is a good option for you. 

The orientation meeting is approximately 2-hours, either via zoom or in-person.

OUR ENROLLMENT PROCESS

Our intake process for enrollment into our program includes: 
  1. Attend an orientation,
  2. A document and application appointment (in-person day), 
  3. An online interview, and 
  4. An acceptance notice. 
At the end of orientation, if you are interested in enrolling in our program, you will receive a time to appear on the in-person day.  At the in-person day, you will complete an application and provide requested documents, as listed on the schedule discussed at Orientation.  In addition, at the in-person day, an online interview is scheduled.  You will be notified of interview results and the next steps within a week from the interview.

VALLEJO COHORT---LATE SUMMER 2023

Program Dates:     

August 14, 2023 - September 8, 2023

Location:    

Vallejo Regional Education Center (formerly, Vallejo Adult School) 

Program Details:   

  • This 128- hour course will be carried out in a 4-week in-person program.  
  • Classes are typically Monday-Thursday, full 8-hour days with lunch provided.


SANTA ROSA COHORT---FALL 2023

Program Dates:     

September 12, 2023 - December 14, 2023

Location:  

Santa Rosa Junior College-Southwest Santa Rosa Center

Program Details:   

  • This 128-hour course will be an in-person evenings and weekend course.
  • Evening classes will be held twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:30- 9:00 pm. 
  • Weekend classes will consist of three full 8-hour days with lunch provided on the following Saturdays: 9/30/23, 11/11/23, & 12/9/23*.   
  • *Dates to be confirmed when the schedule is distributed.  


MENDOCINO/LAKE COHORT---FALL 2023

Program Dates:

September 12, 2023 - December 14, 2023 

Location:

Part remote-online and part at a physical location TBD, either in Lake or Mendocino County

Program Details: 

  • This 128-hour course will be held as a hybrid of online evening classes and in-person weekend classes.
  • Online evening classes will be twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:30 - 9:00 pm.  
  • In-person weekend classes will consist of three full 8-hour days with lunch provided on the following Saturdays: 9/23/23, 10/14/23 & 12/2/23.  
  • The location is yet to be determined, either in Lake or Mendocino County.  


FUTURE COHORTS

We will have updates as we move through our calendar, but you may always register by selecting:   Option F Future below.  This option allows us to email you when future orientations are available, for which you can register.  


COVID STATUS 

Since this program is a preparation for apprenticeship in the trades, with the current situation for both our class and your employment, COVID vaccination has been a requirement, and documentation requested.  Boosters are suggested to be current.  Masks will be optional at the instructor's discretion.  Most should be able to get the vaccination in time if the process is started right away.  The California website, https://myturn.ca.gov is suggested to find timely options near you.
