Networking Night Information
What is Networking Night? It's a part of the lead up to SQLSaturday Baton Rouge and it too is presented by the Baton Rouge User Groups nonprofit.

Attendees from all Baton Rouge User Groups (SQL Server, .NET, Analytics, Women in Technology groups, and all others are invited!)

o Short-format entertaining presentations on career topics, technical or nontechnical,
o Since 2014, 50+ IT professionals including many newcomers attended this fun annual event!
Networking Night time slots are 5-15 minutes for skill development, career development, professional networking, soft skills, and more!
Suggested topics:

-Career Guidance (Example: Interview tips, resume guidance)
-Continuing Education Topics (Example: Postgraduate degrees, certifications, online training)
-Emerging Technology talks (Example: What's new and interesting in Azure? In IoT? In cloud technology?)
-Technical Guidance talks (Example: What does a .NET Developer need to know?)
-Futurism (Example: Here's this hot new thing everyone in Tech should know about)
-Technical Domain topics (Example: What are the different career specializations inside SQL Server or SharePoint?)
-Recruiting Pitches (Example: Come work for my Company XYZ, it is awesome!)
-Lessons Learned As a... (Example: In the last 20 years as a developer, I've learned that you should never...)
-Humorous Technology/Job Related Anecdotes and Stories...
-Our corporate culture is so cool that...
-Here's what you need to ace an interview at...
