Place: Creative Space at Waterloo Arts, 397 E 156th St, Cleveland, OH 44110
There is ample free parking on E 156th, Waterloo Rd, in the parking lot behind Waterloo Arts and in multiple public lots on Waterloo Rd.
When you arrive, please check in with staff in the gallery if none are in the Creative Space.
Open Studios are not an instructional class, but rather a time to work independently on a project.
Waterloo Arts will provide DayGlo paint, basic paper and brushes and space to work independently in both the natural light and a black light. Artists are welcome to bring any additional supplies and tools they need. The use of aerosol paint is not permitted in the studio.
Feel free to bring friends and have fun (it is DayGlo after all!) but also please be respectful of other people working in the space.
When you are finished working, please cover the paints and wash any brushes or pallets used.
If you are working on a project that will take multiple sessions to finish, work can be left in the studio until the next session, but will not be held after the final session. Finished work can be displayed in our annex gallery during the DayGloSho and picked up at the end of March when the show closes.
DayGlo Open Studios are for age 15 and above. Children can attend the DayGlo Family Fun Open Studio earlier on Saturdays if accompanied by an adult.
Waterloo Arts Staff leave at 4 PM on Saturday so please be mindful of the time so you can help clean up by 3:30 PM.
Space is limited so if you sign up for a session and can not attend, please let us know as early as possible by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or by leaving a message at 216-692-9500.
