APPEL À CANDIDATURES : 27 JANVIER - 13 AVRIL 2025
Le Prix Viviane Esders récompense un photographe en activité
depuis plus de 40 ans, témoignant d’une écriture personnelle et
d’une approche artistique affirmée. Sont privilégiés les dossiers
présentant une démarche de questionnement sur l’image.
La dotation de 60.000€ (50.000€ pour le lauréat et 5.000€ pour les deux autres finalistes) s’adresse tout particulièrement aux
photographes dont l’activité ne peut se poursuivre sans un soutien
financier significatif.
Cette année, un.e lauréat.e sera choisi.e parmi les trois nominés
sélectionnés par un éminent jury.
LE DOSSIER DE CANDIDATURE :
Le dossier de candidature doit être envoyé dans UN FICHIER PDF UNIQUE intitulé (NOM_Prenom_ PrixVivianeEsders2025) par WeTransfer à :

Il doit inclure les éléments suivants :
- Le formulaire de candidature dûment rempli et le règlement paraphé et signé : TÉLÉCHARGER ICI
- Une biographie rédigée accompagnée d’un CV (3 pages maximum)
- Un portfolio de 40 images datées et légendées résumant le parcours photographique (les photographies doivent être intégrées aux fichier PDF). La sélection doit être accompagnée d’un court texte de présentation d’ensemble et/ou d’un court texte par série de photographies.
- Une note d’intention motivant la candidature en justifiant de l’utilité de cette dotation pour prolonger son oeuvre (3 pages maximum)
- Une copie de la pièce d’identité attestant de l’âge du candidat.
Les candidatures peuvent être formulées en français ou en anglais.
Les dossiers complets de candidature pourront être envoyés par wetransfer entre le 27 janvier 2025 et le 13 avril 2025, 23h59, heure française. Le dossier devra être transmis en un seul fichier PDF n’excédant pas 50 megas.

The Prix Viviane Esders is awarded to a photographer who has
been working for 40 years, and who has a personal style and artistic approach. Preference is given to entries presenting a questioning
approach to the image.
The €60,000 prize (€50,000 for the
winner and €5,000 for the two runners-up) is particularly aimed at
photographers who need financial support to continue their work.
This year, a prestigious jury will select three nominees, including
one winner.
The application must be sent in ONE SINGLE PDF FILE entitled (NAME_Firstname_VivianeEsders2025 Award) via WeTransfer to:

It must include the following:
- The completed application form and the signed and initialed rules: DOWNLOAD HERE
- A written biography with a CV (3 pages maximum)
- A portfolio of 40 dated and captioned images summarizing the photographic career (the photographs must be integrated into PDF files). The selection must be accompanied by a short text of presentation of the whole and/or a short text by series of photographs.
- A note of intention motivating the candidature by justifying the utility of this endowment to prolong its work (3 pages maximum)
- A copy of the identity document attesting the age of the candidate.
Applications may be submitted in French or English.
Complete applications may be sent by wetransfer between January 27, 2025 and April 13, 2025, 11:59 p.m., French time. The application must be sent in a single PDF file not exceeding 50 megas.
