Our goal is to strengthen the Community Health Worker (CHW) workforce and improve the effectiveness and retention of CHWs in their workplace and offer career opportunities for those seeking to enter the health care field.

CHW is an “umbrella term” for a number of job titles including Health Educator, Patient Resource Coordinator, Enrollment Worker, Family Advocate, Health Advocate, Outreach Worker/Educator, Patient Navigator, and Promotor(a) de Salud.

TRAINING COMMITMENT & SCHEDULE: Includes 80 hours of guided AND self-guided education and will be conducted In-Person in Malden, MA. Certificates of completion are only given to those who complete all 80 hours of training

This training is provided by the CHA's Community Health Department.
