We want to spread suicide awareness throughout our community! We don't want anyone to feel alone! We want to make sure everyone knows we all have struggles of our own but as a community we can overcome our obstacles together!
We are selling $10 t-shirts through Eich’s Sports! Although we do not get any profits from selling them at this price, we benefit by seeing yellow all over our community! Please check out the link below to order yours!
We also want to try to get all staff within the Plainfield School District 202 to wear our yellow shirts on Tuesday September 10th, 2019. Tuesday September 10th is World Suicide Prevention Day so we want to get everyone to wear yellow that day! Each school's staff can order in bulk but will have to pick them up and distribute among themselves.

All proceeds from the 2019 Plainfield Suicide Awareness Walk will be donated to Elyssa’s Mission. Elyssa’s Mission® provides resources to help prevent teen suicide. The community-based organization was founded in 2006 in honor of Elyssa, a bright, gifted and outgoing Chicagoland girl who bravely battled post-traumatic stress disorder and depression. Elyssa’s Mission® provides hands-on support to area public and private schools in order to educate students, staff, parents and guardians on how to recognize and assist those teens most at-risk. All Plainfield District 202 buildings will be implementing the Signs of Suicide program this school year, as funded by Elyssa’s Mission.
