DESCRIPTION:
Hey Crew!
Mark your calendars for February 17th because we are going hiking at Shades State Park.
We will be learning the basics of compass and map reading. Also we will be having lots of fun and learning loads of information about our environment. This is a recruitment and family event so all are welcome. Drivers will be needed for transportation to and from Shade's; please indicate driving capabilities on the signup form.

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE:
8:30am Arrive at St. Elizabeth Seton
9:00am Depart for Shades State Park
10:30am Start hike
11:30am Stop for lunch
12:30pm Continue hike
2:30pm Fun activities
3:30pm Depart for return
5:00pm Arrive back at St. Elizabeth Seton

In order to be an approved adult camper, you must be at least 25 years old and must either be registered in Crew 202 or be a parent of a Crew 202 Venturer. (If a visitor, you may drive your own son/daughter.) To drive youth other than your own child, you must have completed BSA Youth Protection training after 2/1/18, Diocese Protocol "Safe and Sacred" training within the last 3 years, and BSA driver training. You must also have submitted license and insurance information to the Crew 202 Training Coordinator (Mr. Considine). The driver must self-report any driving violations other than routine moving violations incurred prior to or after being placed on the approved driver list. All drivers must complete the BSA Driver Pledge.
