Stop playing video games and start making them! Code in the Schools' Annual Game Jam is a one-day event where youth (6th Grade through 12th Grade) work in teams to create an original video game in less than 12 hours! The Fifth Annual Game Jam will take place on Saturday November 11, 2017 from 8am-8pm at Code in the Schools' office located at 10 E. North Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21202.
For the Fifth Annual Game Jam, students will use Unity Game Engine 2D tools package to design and code video games based on a theme announced the morning of the event. Teams have all day to work on their games and will be judged by a panel of video game professionals. All participants receive a special event t-shirt and are eligible to win awesome prizes! Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks will be provided. This event is free and open to the public.
