When you have submitted this form we will contact you as soon as possible to confirm availability and provide a link to your deposit invoice, which can be paid securely online.
The rest of your payment will be due roughly 3 months before your trip. Again, we will send you an invoice for this which can be paid securely online, then you're ready to go!
Terms and Conditions:
Covid 19 and your booking: any 2023 trips remain refundable if travel restrictions (such as quarantines or FCO advice to the contrary) prevent them from going ahead. If travel is possible then the usual terms and conditions apply.
The Contract- A contract will exist between you and BikeVillage Holidays from when a signed/completed booking form booking form and deposit payment is received and your confirmation is dispatched.
Paying the balance- The balance of payment should reach us at least 3 months before your holiday starts. If this does not happen we reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled, applying the charges listed below (don't worry, we'd only do this if we really couldn't get hold of you and had heard nothing. It's never happened yet!).
If booking less than 3 months before your trip, the deposit and balance will be payable together in order to secure your booking, after which regular conditions will apply.
If you change your booking- Any changes to details supplied on your booking form that you wish to make will be accommodated if at all possible. If we cannot, we reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled.
Cancellation by you- Cancellation notice is required in writing and charges will be made as listed as % of total holiday cost: over 3 months notice = deposit, under 3 months notice = 75% of total holiday cost remains payable, under 6 weeks notice = 100% of your trip remains payable. We take nearly all of our bookings well in advance and if you cancel your trip, our chances of filling that spot are very low, hence the cancellation charges.
BikeVillage Vehicles- Clients travel in BikeVillage vehicles entirely at their own risk. It is a complementary service and while we will try to maintain it, it may be withdrawn due to circumstances beyond our control.
Rider responsibility- All riders ride entirely at their own risk. Everyone will have to listen to and read a safety briefing when they arrive and sign a form confirming they agree with it all (details can be supplied beforehand if needs be). If any points of the safety briefing are at all unclear you really must signal this to us so we can discuss it. Everyone must have travel insurance that covers them for mountainbiking, cancellation and anything else they wish to do whilst with BikeVillage.
Bikes- if you'd like your bike to be insured whilst here you need to arrange this before coming out, either through a home contents, travel or Cycling UK (or other cycling user group) policy.
