IRE is hosting its first listening session for LGBTQ+ members and allies on Jan 18 at 12pm CST via Zoom. This event aims to foster an open dialogue and understanding of the unique experiences and concerns within IRE’s LGBTQ+ community, as we seek to better serve our LGBTQ+ membership. This is also an opportunity to share with IRE leadership ideas and feedback on how we can better support you and the LGBTQ+ community. IRE recently formed its first-ever LGTBQ+ membership subcommittee, which will be tackling some of the issues and ideas generated from this event. 

Participants will be able to submit questions anonymously to this form  before the event, or speak directly to a group of IRE staff, board members and LGBTQ+ volunteers. Anyone attending this session should be respectful of other participants and abide by IRE’s Code of Conduct.
