As we celebrate the 30 year anniversary of the Community Earth System Model (CESM), we are seeking to better characterize the value of the CESM activity, which includes the model, data, and support that is provided for its use. We are especially interested in how the activity supports a range of users and stakeholders and how it is delivering impact both in terms of science and societally-beneficial applications, nationally and internationally. This information will allow us to identify development priorities and will provide examples and testimonials that can be readily used to convey its value.
