Prison Chaplaincy Oral History Project
Hello! My name is Shir Lovett-Graff and I am a Masters candidate at Harvard Divinity School with a concentration in Religion, Ethics and Politics. Supported by the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Studies, I am conducting an oral history project collecting interviews and stories from prison chaplains (across faith traditions, both volunteer and paid) in order to create a report and digital collection of stories.

In these interviews, I will explore how prison chaplains came to their work, how they understand "spiritual resilience" in the context of prison chaplaincy, and how they see their role as prison chaplains fitting into wider conversations about prison reform and abolition.

Please fill out the form below if you are interested in being interviewed for this project.
