Register your interest! We are looking for project briefs for Experience Haus part-time UX, UI and Digital Product Design courses
Thanks for your interest so far!

Experience Haus is a design education provider that runs courses for professionals who wish to upskill or refresh in UX, UI and Digital Product Design. You can read more about our courses here: www.experiencehaus.com. We teach the end to end digital product design process, along with core product management and strategy skills.

A core feature of our part-time courses here is that students are either paired individually or in groups to work with local startups. The students apply their learnings throughout these courses onto live design and product strategy challenges from these startups. At the end of the course you will receive learnings from research, competitor analysis, up to date wireframe designs and a well-tested prototype.

The courses range from eight to twelve weeks long and new cohorts are scheduled to start regularly throughout the year. There is no cost for a startup to take part in this programme - we are simply looking for challenging briefs from interesting startups from a mix of industries.

There is no cost! And you will receive upwards of 100 hours of free help.

All we ask is that you make yourself available for around 5 hours during the course duration -  there are specific conversations, check-ins and a final presentation at the end of the course.

What makes a good project? UX/Product Design wise - Something that includes a few user journeys, for example a booking flow, an e-commerce journey or completing a particular task, Ideally we also need a relatively easy to access target audience, as a core part of our programmes is user research.

Briefs do not need to be extremely detailed and can be vague in part, this is because we try to teach our students to sit down with their clients, ask the right questions, refine the ask and fill in the gaps - very much like a real life client brief. If you have a particular problem you may want to ask this very clearly up front and expand upon it in the initial briefing session with your student(s).

Please understand that will provide project briefs on an ongoing basis (we have courses starting every month) and we cannot accommodate all projects. If you do you have questions however feel free to email us.

Please complete the following form and we'll be in touch with next steps.

Many thanks

Some of courses are held in studio in London, meaning the presentation (and stakeholder conversations) can held in person - our studio is in Shoreditch. We also run online courses so you can do your check-ins via Zoom.
What is your company website (if you have one)?
If you don't have one yet, perhaps this could be included as part of your project brief
In a paragraph or two, tell us about your company, team and your product. *
You can include history, why it was started, what purpose it serves / jobs to be done, size (revenue, headcount etc), objectives / strategic priorities. You can include what stage is the product in now, who uses it, feedback so far, etc.
What is the key user experience or product design challenge that needs to be addressed? Please provide details - remember our courses focus on digital products. *
Be as specific as possible.
What is your target audience(s)? Please provide demographics if possible.
Our students will conduct thorough user research so it's useful to know ahead of time who they need to be targetting in terms of lining up interviews or sending out surveys.
Would you be able to put our student(s) in touch with potential or current users of your business?
Getting access to users (current, prospective or past) is important for user research to be done. Whatever help you can provide with getting access to your target audience will help.

What does success look like from this project? *
Include KPIs across any level, from hard metrics like revenue and profit tomid-level measures like conversion rates / customer satisfaction or softer touches like dwell time, shares etc. Could even be just be anecdotal success. E.g. 'a unique, gamechanging new feature to show off in marketing’
We expect that companies/startups that get involved are able to provide up to 5 hours of their time during the course to take part in a stakeholder interview, answer any student questions (via email or phone), and attend a final presentation (held either in our studio in Shoreditch or online via Zoom). Can you confirm this will be possible? *
Many of our students use these projects in their portfolio as part of their job search. Is it ok for our students to use the course work completed on your project in their portfolio, if they wish to? We are happy to sign NDAs if needed. *
