Girls Rock! Indy camp is a day camp for girls, non-binary, and trans youth ages 9-16. Campers attend a week-long crash course on a rock band instrument, songwriting, and musical collaboration. Additionally, campers participate in daily interactive workshops and lessons focused on building confidence, personal empowerment, and leadership skills, through the lens of music education. Starting this year for this week of camp we will have campers ages 6-16.
*Campers, not ages 6-8, will need to have any prior music experience, and instruments will be provided. Campers who are ages 6-8 will not need to have prior music experience.

Camp Hours:
For campers ages 6-8: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 1 pm (7:30 am earliest drop off, 2 pm latest pickup)
For campers ages 9-16:
Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (7:30 am earliest drop off, 5:30 pm latest pickup)
Applicant selection:
The application for camp closes on March 18th. Campers will be notified of acceptance 2-3 weeks after the application closes to allow for all expression pieces to be submitted and application fully processed. If all of the steps of the application process are completed in a timely manner, the likelihood that your camper will be accepted is extremely high. We accept campers based on a number of criteria including the date we receive your application, the popularity of your camper's age group, and the camper's expression piece.
Within two weeks of the submission of this application your camper will need to submit a creative piece to us via email. It can be musical, visual art, written, a video, or any creative expression of their choosing that can be shared digitally. Fees:
There is no initial application fee this year
6-8 year old Full Day Camp is $400
Intensive Instrument tuition is $375.00 for one camper to attend one week of camp.
Financial aid is available; more information can be found later in the application.

Tuition will be billed after acceptance letters are sent out, and will be due by May 31st.
